I replicated 48 identical 10’ sculptures to create the visual elements of an infinity room.
The process started with a plywood jig made from a cnc machine and the first piece was built in the jig. Issues arose when we were unable to separate the sculpture from the jig without destroying it.
The issue was resolved by making a reusable and removable hinged metal jig modeled around our first sculpture.

Led a team of four to help manually bend over 1300 pieces of steel rod.
Over 12,000 welds were needed to complete this project, and each piece was cleaned by hand in order to be safe enough for the public to interact with.
I coordinated with local businesses to powder coat the project and order unistrut for installation.
